No wonder there are so many luxury hotels in Paris. It’s because there are so many exciting things to do. The City is alive with bistros and cathedrals, monuments and nightclubs, and there’s even a lovely river you can cruise on that runs right through it too. As soon as you have settled into the finest luxury rental Paris can provide, its time to go out and explore the City, and find out why so many visitors come back time, and time again. So clear the decks for action but don’t worry - there’ll be ample time for breaks and a tasty Parisian lunch as well.

Let’s start off by having fresh filtered coffee and delicious croissants with genuine French butter at a Street Café on the South Bank of the Seine, while we watch the locals going off to work and tourists appearing from their Paris hotels. Before us lies the panorama of the elegant Place De La Concorde, with many a grand Paris apartment sharing views of the Eiffel Tower. The morning sunshine casts a warming glow upon an ancient obelisk from Egypt – can you believe that you are finally here in Paris, staying in one of the best Paris hotels, and have such a wonderful day ahead in such a perfect place to holiday too.

Its time to work off breakfast now. Let’s stroll through the sprawling grounds of the Hôtel Des Invalides, which was built to house the veterans of Napoleon’s victorious armies. It’s not quite as grand as a luxury vacation apartment in Paris though. In fact to my way of thinking it looks rather stern. While we’re in the area let’s pop into the Military Museum and view the great General’s tomb. It’s still not quite time for lunch so let’s walk across to the Musée De Orangerie for a while, and goggle in amazement at artistic miracles Monet, Cezanne and Renoir made. Across the River Seine is the Musée D’ Orsay where more masterpieces are displayed. Such a pity artists are paid so poorly and couldn’t afford a decent Paris apartment even in those days.

Now what’s for lunch? Let’s find another pretty Street Café this time with views across towards the majestic Eiffel Tower. You could take your pick, but for something light, how about an omelette pommes frites washed down with your favorite glass of finest French champagne. After all, you are in Paris now, and staying in one of the luxury hotels in Paris too, so let your hair down and relax – who’s driving home when there’s the Paris Metro. Do you fancy working off your meal somewhere a little quieter. How about visiting herb gardens created by a French king way back in 1626? You could wander through sweet-smelling flowerbeds for the entire afternoon, or you could take things on a more serious note, because this is also an internationally acclaimed botanic site.

It’s getting cooler now. In fact its five o’clock already and eventually you must return to your luxury rental Paris laid on for you. But first, let’s wander through the cobbled streets of the historic French Quarter for a while, as we rub shoulders with the City’s students and catch up on their vibe. This charming district is home to many fascinating art and second hand book shops too, so take some money with you and be prepared to buy a souvenir. There are also libraries, iconic religious buildings and magnificent parks and gardens, and all around you’ll catch a glimpse of the most magnificent Paris hotels the City has to offer.

Your final destination before returning to your luxury vacation apartment in Paris, France for a restful sleep tonight is the district of St-Germain Des Prés where famous writers like Sarte, Ezra Pound and Joyce once gathered, and where contemporary ones still do. Why not enjoy another cup of coffee as you watch the locals returning home, while you plan your magnifique evening meal, and your eventual return to your luxury Parisian hotel.
